A look at the call of Isaiah 62:4 Ministries to equip churches and people to bring freedom and deliverance.
While on a ministry trip to Washington DC I received an email from Sarah the receptionist at our church home church in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida.
She was emailing because a counselor based in the northeast had contacted her to see if there were any deliverance ministries in her area. She had someone that she felt was in need of more counseling than she was equipped to give. Like so many times before, my heart ached because I didn’t know of one. The only alternative that Sarah could offer the woman was for her to make a trip to Santa Rosa Beach, FL where we have healing and deliverance teams at the ready.
I love ministering deliverance one on one but given a choice, I would rather spend most of my time training and raising up deliverance teams in churches everywhere I possibly could. That way, those ministries would be able to minister to all the tormented and hurting people in their area.
As our vision continues, I hope that whenever someone calls asking for ministry, my response will be different than the one I gave that woman. When we receive these phone calls I would love to be able to tell them that we have churches we can refer them to.
Although there are some churches that are trained and flowing, there are not enough. There needs to be more.
There are other deliverance ministries around but many of them are not training others and mostly just do conferences about deliverance.
I like what Dr. Bill Hamon says, “It is time to raise up the Saints to do the work of the ministry.”
We want to have teams in churches in place ready to minister to those who come into the church needing freedom.
As many churches are praying for revival and reformation, we as churches must prepare for when the harvest comes in. Those that will be saved in the days to come will not be perfect. We must be prepared to deliver them from their chains and bondages so that they can begin to walk an overcoming life of freedom. Addictions, emotional hurts, infirmities, generational curses, whatever it is, Jesus is the answer and as His people we have been called to the ministry of healing and deliverance to set them free. If we as saints of the Kingdom of God are not equipped to minister freedom to the multitudes that come in, chances are that they will leave the church and go back to their lives of bondage or even worse, live life as a half fulfilled Christian.

If we want to see sustained Revival let’s get them free of an anything that would pull them out of church again.

What could be keeping churches from doing this valid ministry of Jesus? Could it be fear? What kind of fear? Perhaps fear of Hollywood deliverance?
Bob and I don’t put down other deliverance ministries. If it is effective praise God but we do not let the demons put on a show. We have been given all authority and power so we train teams to move in that authority.
Maybe there is fear of what people will think. Is deliverance not the ministry of Jesus? Then let’s be more concerned in doing what he has called us to do and not what people will say.

In these classes, we build a strong biblical foundation giving all who attend a clear understanding of healing and deliverance. Along with the teaching, we also activate everyone to move in deliverance. You will be flowing and setting people free by the end of the course.
